Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in API testing, load and performance testing, automation using Python, and testing containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes). The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for quality, a keen eye for detail, and hands-on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks. Roles and Responsibilities: API Testing Design, implement, and execute test cases for RESTful APIs using tools like Postman and RestAssured. Validate API performance, functionality, and security against defined requirements. Load and Performance Testing Conduct performance, stress, and load testing using tools like JMeter or Locust. Analyze system behavior under various loads and identify performance bottlenecks. Automation Testing Build and maintain automated test suites using Python-based frameworks such as Pytest and Robot Framework. Enhance test coverage and optimize automation pipelines for scalability and efficiency. Kubernetes and Containerized Application Testing Perform QA on microservices-based applications deployed in Docker/Kubernetes environments. Validate container orchestration, scalability, and inter-service communication within Kubernetes clusters. Manual and Exploratory Testing Execute manual regression, exploratory, and edge case testing to uncover hard-to-detect issues. Ensure all business and functional requirements are met. Defect Tracking and Collaboration Track and manage bugs using tools like JIRA and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly. Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives as part of an agile development team. Continuous Quality Improvement Engage in design/code reviews and offer feedback from a QA perspective. Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and best practices. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 12 years of experience in: API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent). Load testing (JMeter, Locust, or equivalent). Test automation using Python (Pytest, Robot Framework). Testing applications in Kubernetes or Docker-based environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Experience with agile development and CI/CD practices is a plus.
