Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester with 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools. Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality and usability. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements. Conduct API testing and database validation as required. Ensure compliance with software quality assurance standards and best practices. Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings effectively. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1 year of experience in software testing, preferably in web and mobile applications. Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle. Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools. Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Candidate Preference: Candidates must be from Kerala .
