Solar Energy Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibility Own and manage end-to-end execution of rooftop solar projects (residential, commercial, industrial) Coordinate with design, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure project readiness Supervise on-site teams and contractors to deliver quality installations within deadlines Maintain project documentation: checklists, material receipt notes, site reports, photos, etc. Ensure safety protocols, compliance, and statutory approvals (e.g. net metering) Serve as the single point of contact between site teams and head office Manage material and manpower planning and optimize site resources Report project progress, risks, and solutions proactively to management REQUIREMENTs: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 3–6 years of hands-on experience in solar rooftop project execution (minimum 500 kWp executed preferred) Strong knowledge of solar components, BOQs, site practices, and quality standards Excellent coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills Comfortable with site travel and dynamic work schedules Familiar with tools like MS Excel, AutoCAD, or basic design software is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
