Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, andConstruction) Sales Job Description Position: Solar EPC Sales Representative Department: Sales Business Development Reports to: Sales Manager/Director Summary : The Solar EPC Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of solarenergy solutions, focusing on end-to-end project execution from design andengineering to procurement and installation. This role involves identifyingpotential clients, understanding their energy needs, proposing tailoredsolutions, and managing relationships to close sales agreements. Key Responsibilities : Business Development : Identify and target potential clients, including commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, and outreach activities. Client Engagement : Meet with potential clients to understand their energy needs, budget, and technical requirements. Present and explain solar EPC solutions, including technical, financial, and environmental benefits. Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations. Sales Process Management : Negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and secure deals while maintaining profitability. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and construction) to ensure accurate project scoping and feasibility. Track sales progress and report on key performance metrics. Relationship Management : Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Act as a primary point of contact, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Market Knowledge Compliance : Stay updated on solar industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies. Ensure compliance with local and national energy standards and policies. Requirements Qualifications and Skills : Education : Bachelordegree in engineering, renewable energy, business, or a related field. Certification in solar energy systems or sales will be an added benefit. Experience : Proven track record in sales, preferably in solar, energy, or EPC projects. Experience with solar energy design, engineering, or construction processes is a plus. Technical Skills : Familiarity with solar energy systems, including PV modules, inverters, and battery storage. Proficiency in CRM software, Zoho and sales tools. Soft Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders. Self-motivated and goal-oriented. Benefits Work Environment : Hybrid role with field visits to client sites. Some travel required for client meetings, site assessments, industry events, needs to come down to Rajkot (HO) few days in a month for meeting team Management.
