We deliver high-impact training and consulting to both B2C and B2B clients. We are expanding our technical leadership team and are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect to lead data engineering projects and shape robust cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data engineering solutions for diverse client use-cases. Understand client requirements and translate business needs into scalable data pipelines and cloud architecture. Design data ingestion, transformation, storage and access strategies using tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Airflow and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Create solution blueprints, high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documentation. Guide and mentor data engineering teams across multiple projects. Define best practices, standards and frameworks for data architecture. Evaluate new tools, frameworks and technologies to continuously enhance data capabilities. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure solutions meet security, compliance and performance benchmarks. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in an architectural/leadership role. Proficiency in: Distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) Programming languages (Python, Scala) Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Data modeling, data lakes and data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse) Workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory) Strong knowledge of data governance, security and data quality. Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills. Preferred Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Data Analytics Azure Solutions Architect Expert / DP-203 Google Professional Data Engineer Why Join Vortunix?
