Solutions Engineer (AMR/AGV)

Job Description

As a Solutions Engineer (AMR/AGV) , you will be responsible for creating the RIGHT solutions for our customers. This role requires a deep understanding of the customercore problem statement, a data-driven matrix approach to solution design, and the ability to provide optimised ROI (Total Cost of Ownership) for manufacturing and warehouse intra-logistics operations. You will be responsible for understanding customers operational needs, business priorities, and design philosophy, and for developing innovative solutions leveraging ANSCER Robotics product portfolio. Role Expectations: Solution Design Development: Logical Mapping: Apply logical understanding to map the right product fit for customer problem statements, considering existing constraints like space, manpower, and operational complexity. 3D/2D CAD Layouts: Craft solutions using 3D or 2D CAD layouts (AutoCAD, Inventor) and present them in an understandable and impactful manner. Time-Motion Study: Evaluate time-motion studies to compare manpower versus automation efficiency. Process Flow Analysis: Chart process flows for before and after automation scenarios, clearly highlighting operational modifications and their benefits. Cost Optimization ROI: Ensure solutions provide the most efficient and optimised ROI for manufacturing and intra-logistics operations. Customer Stakeholder Engagement: Value Proposition Communication: Advise customers and sales/solution teams about the benefits and core value propositions derived from the solutions. Consultation Readiness: Provide face-to-face consultations to customers on pre-readiness, SOPs, and scope clarity for the proposed solutions. Stakeholder Sign-off: Collaborate with product, technical, and project teams to get sign-offs on proposed solutions. Feedback Loop: Collect customer feedback for continuous improvement and enhancement of solution offerings. Documentation: Need to work on the mutually agreed business-use case agreement with the customer and get sign-off before handing over the project to the internal team. Standardization Scalability: Solution Standardization: Gradually standardise solutions for various use cases to create reusable collaterals, thereby accelerating direct and indirect sales. Innovation Scalability: Continuously innovate and optimize solutions for scalability and adaptability to evolving customer needs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales teams to understand customer pain points and translate them into technical requirements. Work closely with Product Managers to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback. Liaise with Technical Teams to ensure feasibility, timely delivery, and smooth implementation of solutions. Additional Requirements: Technical Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of solutions and their impact. Collaborate with marketing teams to provide technical insights that enhance product documentation and promotional materials. Product Feedback Improvement: Collect and analyse customer feedback to provide actionable insights for product improvements. Work closely with RD teams to enhance product features, usability, and overall performance. Continuous Learning Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends in AMR/AGV technologies, automation standards, and industry best practices.
