Special Educator

Job Description

Assess the educational and vocational needs of individuals with disabilities. Develop individualized education and vocational training plans. Deliver specialized instruction tailored to various learning styles and abilities. Train individuals in life skills, pre-vocational, and vocational skills to enhance employability. Collaborate with vocational trainers, therapists, and counselors to create a holistic rehabilitation plan. Adapt teaching materials and methods to accommodate diverse abilities and needs. Monitor and document progress toward educational and vocational goals. Facilitate job readiness, including communication, time management, and workplace behavior. Conduct regular reviews and modify plans based on individual progress and feedback. Provide guidance to families and caregivers on supporting vocational development.
