Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a skilled MySQL Developer/Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining MySQL databases to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability. This role involves working closely with application developers and stakeholders to manage data requirements and optimize database operations. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize MySQLdatabases .Create and maintain schemas , tables , indexes , and other database objects.Write efficient SQLqueries for data manipulation and reporting.Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues like slow queries, locks, and deadlocks.Implement backupandrecoveryprocedures to ensure data integrity and availability.Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching as needed.Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance with proper database design.Ensure database security by implementing accesscontrols and encryption.Document database configurations, processes, and best practices.Stay updated with the latest trends in database technologies and tools. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong expertise in MySQL database design, development, and administration.Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQLqueries and stored procedures.Knowledge of databasenormalization and best practices in database design.Experience with performancetuning and query optimization techniques.Familiarity with MySQLreplication , clustering, and other high-availability solutions.Understanding of databasesecurity measures and compliance requirements.Ability to work with large datasets and manage high-traffic databases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloudplatforms (e.g., AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure Database for MySQL).Knowledge of NoSQLdatabases like MongoDB is a plus.Familiarity with DevOpstools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to datavisualizationtools and reporting frameworks.Certification in MySQL or related database technologies is an advantage.
