Vikhroli, Maharashtra, India Department Purchase Job posted on May 30, 2025 Employment type Permanent 3-7 years; experience in sourcing must; good-to-have engineering backgorund; industries - auto, auto ancillaries, FMCD, construction equipment, etc. 1.Commercial Ownership oLead vendor negotiations to secure the most favorable terms. oFinalize contracts and maintain commercial control, including BoM ownership oTrack key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement efficiency. 2.Capacity Planning & Procurement Decision-Making oDefine and evaluate vendor production capacities and lead times. oPlan for tools, number of vendors required, and material readiness in line with production demands. oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proactive capacity planning and supply assurance. 3.Production Procurement Operations oManage complete procurement of production materials to ensure zero line stoppages. oEnsure accurate and timely release of vendor production schedules. oMaintain BoM accuracy and coordinate with planning teams for seamless material flow. 4.Vendor Management & Performance Monitoring oOwn vendor relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, monitoring, and performance reviews. oConduct regular vendor follow-ups and visits to ensure timely dispatches and material quality. oRe-evaluate and renew supplier contracts periodically. 5.Risk Management & Controls oAnticipate supply-side risks using data analysis and implement mitigation strategies. oEnsure adherence to procurement compliance and audit requirements
