Our Client is hiring SPORTS MANAGER – it’s a Senior Level Position with a very well known Sporting Institute in Mumbai. Have you been in the Sports industry with Sports Management and Operations experience??Have you worked with some of the Sporting Academes, handling their sports operations, Licensing and other formalities?? YES ….. Then this Opportunity is for you. The purpose is to contribute significantly in reinforcing the image and legacy of CCI as one of the best sporting club in the country. Qualification s and CertificatesDegree in Sports Management Graduate in Sports administration Post Graduate in Management / Events Management 10 – 20 Years of experience in Sports Industry preferably working in Sports Academy as Events /Operations Manager. Experience of dealing in getting required licences as required for the sports events. KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Planning: a. Work closely with the CEO and COO to define long term strategic goals for the Sports function. b. Translate the agreed strategic goals in to actionable plan in order to promote and encourage different sporting activities to the utmost satisfaction of all stakeholders. c. Develop a comprehensive strategy and plan in order to create champions in each sport Sports Management: a. Implement operational strategies for each sport in order to provide an enriching experience to the members of the club, namely - i. Cricket ii. Basketball iii. Table tennis/ Lawn tennis/ Squash/ Badminton iv. Billiards/ Cards v. Swimming/ Running vi. Health Club / Yoga vii. Emerging Sports/ Zumba/ Children’s Play area b. Program Management: i. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of sports programs, including leagues, tournaments, and events. Ensure that programs are well-organized, safe, and provide a positive experience for participants/ members/ sports personnel. c. Sports personnel Development: i. Create and implement programs to enhance the development and progression of sports personnel to become champions. ii. Provide resources and support to help sports personnel to reach their full potential. Catch them young. iii. Monitor and evaluate sports personnel progress and provide feedback. iv. Foster positive relationships with sports personnel, parents, coaches, and community stakeholders. v. Collaborate with other departments to promote sports programs and engage the community in sports initiatives. d. Partnership Development: i. Identify and establish strategic partnerships with sports organizations, sponsors, and community groups to enhance opportunities available for the development of CCI sportsmen and teams. Licensing Get required Licenses from Government Authority for Sports Events with the help of Licensing Agencies. Compliance and Safety: i. Ensure compliance with relevant sports regulations, policies, and safety standards. ii. Establish and enforce protocols for risk management, emergency response, and sportsmen welfare.
