Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic, driven intern to join our Sports Sales team as a Sports Sales Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports sales while supporting business development efforts, building client relationships, and contributing to overall sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in sports business, combined with a proactive sales approach. Location: Bangalore (Onsite) Education/Job Experience Required: Pursuing a bachelor's / master's degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field. Strong interest in the sports industry and sales. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in sales, marketing, or sports-related internships. Knowledge of the sports industry and different sporting events. Understanding of sports media and advertising landscape. Day-to-Day Work: Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct market research to identify potential brands, reach out to prospects through calls, emails, and LinkedIn and engage with potential clients about relevant sports events. Lead Qualification & Relationship Building: Qualify leads from past, existing, active brands, understand client needs, and suggest suitable sports properties or packages, building relationships through personalized engagement. Sales Support & Client Meetings: Support the sales team by scheduling and preparing for client meetings and assisting in sales presentations. Sales Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of sales campaigns, develop sales materials, create proposals, and contribute to go-to-market (GTM) strategies for sports properties and events. CRM & Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records in CRM tools, manage business trackers, generate reports, and assist in project planning to ensure successful project delivery Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies, stay up-to-date on industry trends, and monitor competitor activities.
