Sr. Accountant- SEZ rules and compliance

Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic finance professional with 5–8 years of experience to take ownership of billing, reporting, and SEZ compliance within our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth financial operations , timely statutory reporting , and strict compliance with SEZ and taxation norms . Position Objective: To manage billing and reporting, ensure statutory and SEZ compliance , and support financial operations including cash flow , taxation , and forecasting . Responsibilities: Day-to-day accounting, payment processing, and reconciliations Timely filing of Softex, APR, MPR , and other statutory reports Cash flow tracking and investment of surplus funds Ensure SEZ and indirect tax compliance (returns, coordination with banks/authorities) CapEx tracking and reporting Support budgeting and forecasting Oversee commercial finance activities (e.g., customs clearance, asset scrapping) Qualifications: Mandatory: Strong knowledge of SEZ rules & compliance Indirect taxation & statutory filings Treasury and cash flow management Intercompany billing & reconciliations CapEx reporting and financial forecasting Strong problem-solving and reporting accuracy Show more Show less
