Sr. Chemist / Chemist - Metals (Ferrous & Non Ferrous)

Job Description

To perform chemical analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous metals using appropriate instruments and techniques, ensuring accurate and reliable results in accordance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct chemical analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous metals using techniques like Wet Chemistry, Spectrometry (OES/XRF), and other advanced analytical methods. Perform sample preparation, testing, and result analysis as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and customer requirements. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure reliable test results. Document test results and prepare detailed reports with accurate interpretation. Ensure compliance with NABL and other relevant standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet testing timelines and address client queries. Participate in proficiency testing programs and implement quality improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment by adhering to safety protocols. Preferred candidate profile Graduate / Postgraduate with at least 2+ years hands on experience.
