Are you ready to help us make the future? Honeywell is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist , reporting to Sr. Director, Communications & CSR in India. This position will be based in Bangalore. This leader will deliver internal and external communications counsel and support for Honeywell in India. The work involves strategic planning in support of key functional initiatives and business priorities; developing and delivering robust, sound communications plans and messages; and flawlessly executing in a complex, dynamic environment. The person in this role will develop and execute internal and external communication strategies resulting in campaigns that drive media and employee engagement and forge stronger alignment with the companys direction. Storytelling experience and prowess is a must as this individual will help guide efforts to consistently develop creative, compelling, and human-focused content that connects Honeywell with its external stakeholders and employees across the company s strategic initiatives. Fluency in and passion for analytics is also imperative as we seek to measure and interpret data that help us enhance our communication practices across the company. What we are looking for: We re looking for someone with 10-12 years of internal and external communications experience, good English business communication skills, a passion for social media understanding and how we can engage on various platforms. The highest quality English language writing skills will be critical for success. Responsibilities include: Support internal communications strategies to strengthen employee engagement and Honeywell s positioning as a company focused on growth. Help manage major initiatives, organization transitions, leadership changes, and other transformation steps through innovative and effective communication plans that address the needs of varied audiences and stakeholders. Support cross-company measurement of communications effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Raise the bar on the quality of communications by guiding content strategies that result in elegantly simple, visually compelling, and easily understandable communications. Oversee and contribute to editorial planning/development in support of Honeywell s drive for growth. Helping position Honeywell with key media influencers in India. Engaging with Honeywell s PR agency partners on media planning and interactions. You must have: A bachelors degree. Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated successful experience in internal and external communications in a corporate or an agency environment. Expert-level storytelling ability and writing skills, with ability to quickly develop clear, concise messages. Excellent and ruthless editing skills. A willingness to be hands-on with writing and editing to get content produced efficiently and on deadline. A willingness to challenge the status quo, think creatively and take intelligent risks in raising the quality of communications across Honeywell. Intimate understanding of social media, especially LinkedIn, and an advanced understanding of how best to leverage internal channels to promote employee engagement. An extraordinary ability to work productively with executives, clients, and partners at all levels. The ability to handle pressures and demands from multiple clients and competing priorities.
