Qualifications : Any bachelors degree or Equivalent education, any technical certification in Linux domain will be added advantage Job Description : Minimum 6+ years of Operations Experience in 24x7 high-availability Linux Production Hands-on experience with Linux and high availability Understanding of UNIX/Linux Operating Systems - Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu and other flavours of UNIX kernel admin/tune, Logical Volume Manager (LVM). Strong troubleshooting Familiarity with scripting on Bash/Korn will be an added advantage. Work with application specific kernel parameters, system hardening, implement firewall, allow and disallow port access. Work with latency sensitive workload that includes process scheduling, memory, network and overall performance tuning of RHEL. Implemented Kafka for data streaming and real-time Designed and implemented a Kafka cluster to handle real-time data Integrated Kafka with existing systems for seamless data Conducted performance testing and optimization to ensure high throughput and low Developed monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health of the Kafka User Administration, Patch, Package Management, security Performance Monitoring and Fine Tuning of System using iOStat, vmstat, netstat and Should have performed installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning. Working knowledge of Software based load Act on Day to Day House Keeping tasks by using tools & Configured Elasticsearch clusters for efficient log aggregation and Implemented security measures to protect data Optimized Elasticsearch settings for improved performance and Developed scripts to automate the indexing and querying Install and maintain security patches on the Good Knowledge in installation, Administration of Database like My-SQL, Red-Hat Certification will be an added Should have knowledge of application high availability, DC-DR Drills, RTO, Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hands knowledge of Automation products like Good working knowledge of Haproxy, Keepalive and Iptables/Firewall. knowledge on MS-Windows OS will be an added Must possess significant work experience in a production, mission-critical Knowledge of Cloud technologies will be an Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
