Job Purpose: The Key Account Manager is responsible for planning and managing national key accounts headquartered in Bangalore/South. This role focuses on driving business growth, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies, and optimizing store-level performance. Job Description Position Title: Sr.Manager /AGM-KAM-Modern Trade Department: Sales-MT ( LFS) Reporting To: GM -MT Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities: Achieve and exceed sales revenue targets in alignment with the sales plan. Provide market intelligence and insights to support marketing campaigns. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities. Optimize floor plan and Planogram for each store based on sales trends. Manage stock effectively to ensure optimal inventory turnover. Implement and track promotional schemes, VM guidelines, and in-store marketing initiatives. Manage non-moving inventory and arrange RTV post-EOSS within agreed norms. Evaluate sales performance and initiate replenishment on a weekly basis. Facilitate stock transfers from warehouse to customer DC to stores. Ensure approval and implementation of necessary VM elements. Oversee debt recovery, shortages, and payment documentation for finance reconciliation. Build strong relationships with key accounts for long-term business growth. Competencies & Skills Required: Technical Know-how: Product & Process Knowledge, Market & Competitive Intelligence. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and planning skills. Negotiation & Networking: Effective communication and relationship-building skills. IT Proficiency: SAP & MS Office (Intermediate level). Experience: 8-12 years in the Textile/Apparel /FMCG industries. Key Interactions: Internal: NSM, RSM, ASO, Brand Staff, Marketing, HR, Category, E-commerce, Finance, IT, S&D team. External: Store Managers, Department Managers, Retailers, Vendors, Distributors, Warehouses, Factories. Management: HOD and Senior Leadership. Educational Qualification: Degree: Graduation in any specialization.
