Job Description

Role & responsibilities Overseeing Agroforestry operations, including raising plantations on farmlands , agroforestry practices, Clonal nursery management and R&D initiatives. Work on scope documents and new projects. Conduct market and economic analyses to assess profitability and sustainability of projects. Provide insights on cost optimization, revenue generation, and financial viability of agroforestry initiatives. Oversee carbon osetting programs by implementing climate-resilient farming techniques and monitoring carbon osetting projects. Collaborate with local communities, farmers, and stakeholders to drive sustainability goals. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and carbon credit standards. Track performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements. Mentor field teams and promote innovation in sustainable practices. Active Liaison with Forest Departments and other Govt. Institutions and Wood based Industries. Preferred candidate profile Apply only if you have done your Masters degree in Forestry Management , Environmental Science, or related fields from IIFM, Bhopal. 10+ years of experience in agroforestry or sustainable farming. Experience of carbon oset programs and sustainability. Strong leadership and project management skills.
