Job Description Position: Sr. Marketing Engineer/Asst Manager - Railways Defence Department: Power Control Defence, Railways Company/SBU: ARBL/ISBU Location: Northern Region(New Delhi) Role Purpose: Understanding market segments and target markets for business expansion. The role involves Business Development, Direct Sales, Sales Forecasting, and executing marketing activities. It also includes retaining existing business, securing new markets, managing business accounts, and handling Government Tenders through IREPS/GeM/Govt. e-Procurement Portals. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business leads in the Railways, Power Control, and Defence sectors. Explore new business opportunities and successfully convert them. Manage online/offline tender submissions on Govt. procurement portals (GeM/IREPS). Collaborate with internal teams (Service, Sales Admin, Engineering, PPC, QA, Logistics, SCM, Production) for seamless business operations. Coordinate with the service team to ensure post-sales support. Gather market intelligence and competitor analysis. Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers. Engage with government officials for negotiations, technical discussions, and tender participation. Preferred Candidate Profile: Age Range: 26 - 32 years Education: BTech/BE (Electrical, Electronics, Communication) / MBA Experience: 4 - 8 years in Institutional/Direct Sales in Government sectors (Power Control, Defence Railways) Key Competencies: Technical Skills: Basic understanding of UPS, Battery Chargers, Power Plants, and Battery systems. Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Attitude: Positive, confident, proactive, and a team player.
