Position / Role: Project Manager Experience Required: 5-10 years. Location: Mumbai Reports to: Director Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management: o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. o Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives. o Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Execution and Supervision: o Oversee all phases of project execution, including procurement, site preparation, construction, installation, and finishing. o Manage subcontractors and ensure their work aligns with project specifications and quality standards. o Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. Quality Control and Compliance: o Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and finish. o Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. o Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the project. Budget and Resource Management: o Monitor project expenses and manage budgets effectively. Job Expectations: o Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best terms and prices. o Optimize resource utilization and manage inventory of materials and equipment. Client Communication and Reporting: o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. o Prepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates, financial status, and risk assessments. o Facilitate client meetings and ensure their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Team Leadership and Development: o Lead and mentor a team of project coordinators, site supervisors, and other staff. o Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. o Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members. Qualifications Education: o Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. o PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus. Experience: o Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the interior design or construction industry. o Proven track record of successfully managing multiple interior projects from inception to completion. Skills and Competencies: o Strong leadership and team management skills. o Excellent organizational and time management abilities. o Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools. o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. o Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
