Key Responsibilities : Vendor Management : Identify and evaluate potential vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure advantageous agreements. Purchase Order Processing : Generate and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Verify order accuracy, specifications, and delivery timelines. Communicate with various departments to understand their procurement needs. Price Negotiation : Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers while maintaining quality standards. Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing. Inventory Management : Collaborate with the inventory management team to maintain optimal stock levels. Track and report on inventory status, identifying potential shortages or overages. Quality Assurance : Work closely with quality control to ensure that purchased products meet the required standards. Address and resolve any quality-related issues with suppliers promptly. Documentation and Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries.
