about the role Architect, develop, and maintain an innovative test automation system for the organization. Work closely with the application architect to develop a solid testing solution, working towards the future state of the application architecture Assist in the training/mentoring of team members, including testers,developers, and business analysts and implements organization wide quality process initiatives to ensure quality of deliverables. Ensure the project deliverables by holding the commitments in terms of quality, costs and deadlines. Participate in the Release planning and identify the risks Define Test Automation scope and criteria and creates a Modular Automation Framework for Backend and Frontend applications. Analysis and Problem solving Ensure no blocking in the Automation activities To understand project and application / product requirements Follow Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes To work on Agile projects in Sprint mode. To use test management tools while managing test runs as per the defined test strategy Create/execute test scripts/cases Prepare and update knowledge capitalization documents. Provide support during User Acceptance Tests (UAT) Implement functional / integration / regression tests on the Project Deliver the Test Execution / Automation tests creation reports to the Team Lead / Project Managers regularly. Implement technical solutions for the defects identified (where ever possible) Analyse quality of service and suggest improvements Manage the documents used by testing team using version control softwares Use defect tracking system and follow resolution of defects Knowledge of web technologies, frameworks and testing tools Analyse quality of service and suggest improvements, wherever possible Working in Agile DevOps mode about you Good skills on Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Robot Automation test framework Working knowledge skills on Cypress Good skills on API Automation Karate/Rest Assured Good Test Development experience with Java, Javascript and Python Good understanding on STLC. Good hold on Test and Defect Management tools like Jira Xray Good knowledge on documentation management tool like Confluence Good knowledge on Database technologies SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB and experience in Database Testing. Basic knowledge on DevOps CI/CD, Docker, Git. Good knowledge on Web Services, XML , SOAP UI Intermediate knowledge on Linux and shell scripting Good to have knowledge on Appium Tool. Good User journey and storyboards knowledge.
