Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer - HVAC located in Kochi. The Design Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with designing HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and collaborating with architects and engineers to optimize design solutions. Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engg.) Professional Experience : 5–10 years of experience in HVAC design for building projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, educational, industrial, etc.) Experience in international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.) Proven experience working on schematic, detailed, and IFC-level design Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of HVAC systems: DX systems, chilled water systems, VRF/VRV, ventilation, and duct design Experience with HVAC load calculations (e.g., using HAP or similar software) Ductwork and piping layout design, equipment selection, and coordination with other disciplines Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and sustainable design (LEED/GREEN Building is a plus) Software Proficiency : AutoCAD (2D) Revit MEP / BIM tools (preferred) Carrier HAP Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Show more Show less
