Role & responsibilities • Develop and implement Export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs. • Developing and implementing export sales strategies. This may involve participating in international trade shows, negotiating contracts, and setting pricing strategies for different markets. •Prepare export documentation such as invoices, packing lists and bills of lading •Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents and vendors. • Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with international regulations and standards. • Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements. • Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations Develop and maintain export databases, records and reports. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations Coordinating the transportation and shipment of goods to international destinations. This involves working with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. To make sure that the products are made available in the international markets by analyzing the trends of the customers and developing sales plans and strategies to meet their needs. The basic and most important step is to identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers from different countries. To ensure that all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given time scales. To take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the export procedures and activities To constantly review the distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the management Responsible for managing the sale of products or services to customers in other countries Develop knowledge of the cultural, business and political background of the countries, responsible for, together with an understanding of consumer tastes To look for new opportunities to sell to different international markets. Export sales officers build up and maintain good relationships with customers, agents and distributors. Studying the market in the target country or countries Identifying new markets for exports and developing new business accounts Planning a sales campaign suited to that country and current consumer trends Planning and reviewing budgets for product ranges. Preparing and managing all necessary export documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export licenses. Managing the financial aspects of export transactions, including pricing, credit terms, and payment methods. Ensuring profitability and managing risks associated with international trade.
