Job Summary:As the Agri Procurement Head, you will be a strategic leader responsible for managing the procurement function related to Agri inputs for Poultry Feed production. Reporting directly to the Commercial Head, your role encompasses the following key areas:Key Accountabilities:Procurement of Agri Inputs:Oversee the sourcing and acquisition of Agri raw materials/inputs required for Poultry feed production.Collaborate with suppliers, farmers, and vendors to ensure a steady supply of key inputs like Maize, Soya and other Agri inputs needed for Feed production.Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply chain.Vendor Development & Relations:Build and manage strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and establish favourable terms.Drive initiatives for supplier diversification and risk mitigation. Quality of Inputs:Ensure the quality and compliance of all Agri inputs.Implement quality control measures throughout the procurement process.Regularly assess suppliers adherence to quality standards.
