What You Will Do in This Role Work with little or no supervision on analysis and development tasks Responsible for owning the design specifications and associated code for complete software components. Collaborate within and across groups in discussing solutions, solicit feedback and writing user interface specifications. Identify and suggest solutions to problems of significant scope. Provide thought and technology leadership and work closely with other engineers and architects to help develop quality products, testable designs, and test tools. Is looked upon to offer direction, guidance and mentoring to Junior individuals on the team. May act as team lead or technical lead for a large portion of or an entire project. Anticipates and identifies problems then provides alternative solutions to successful end result Reviews the design and code of junior developers and takes necessary corrective actions if needed Author best software development practices as well as come up with standards specific to the team Learn technology trends across the industry and analyze how they can be adopted by the team Contribute towards both Dev and QA automation. Adamant about writing quality, reusable, and performant code. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines. One can rapidly deploy, learn, and iterate on new features. What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role BE in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of Training &5-8 years of Experience. Expert Java and Spring development experience, preferably gained on complex, multi-tier, web-based business applications on WebLogic or Tomcat Very experienced and comfortable with Hibernate. React/Angular JS experience. Very good Oracle database and PLSQL practical experience Knowledge and experience of Agile software development processes and methodologies Solid understanding of Continuous Integration best practices Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent troubleshooting skill to root cause complex issues Microservice-oriented architectures & REST based web service development Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and an active code reviewer. Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Spark, Kafka, AWS, Azure experience a net advantage
