Staff Developer Advocate

Job Description

Create Technical Content: Produce high-quality technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, guides, diagrams, and videos targeted at developers. Data-Driven Content Strategy: Use data to inform and evaluate content efforts, iterating based on performance and feedback. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to ensure consistent, high-quality content and messaging. Community Engagement: Actively engage with the developer community through forums, social media, and events, representing Temporal.io. Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from the community to influence product development and improve developer experience. Event Participation: Travel frequently to support and participate in developer events and conferences. What You ll Bring: MUST reside in Bangalore and be eligible to work without sponsorship. Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on AI and distributed systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more of our SDK languages, distributed systems, state management, and workflow execution. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a developer advocate or relations role; building and engaging developer communities is a plus. The ability to attend meetings in the Pacific Time Zone 2-3 times a week Bonus Points: Experience in a developer advocate or relations role; building and engaging developer communities is a plus.
