The Electrical Fitter is responsible for the installation, assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical components in the machine. The role requires expertise in reading electrical schematics, performing precision wiring, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to meet production goals.Key Responsibilities:Electrical Installation & Assembly:Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.Assemble, install, and wire electrical control panels, harnesses, and circuits for machinery.Conduct cable routing, terminations, and soldering where required.Test electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with design specifications.System Integration & Testing:Perform electrical and electro-mechanical integration of components into the complete system.Conduct functional and continuity testing of electrical circuits using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.Compliance & Documentation:Ensure all electrical work complies with industry regulations and safety standards.Complete necessary documentation and logs for traceability and quality assurance.Provide feedback on errors in electrical schematics and suggest improvements.Safety & Maintenance:Adhere to electrical safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.Identify and report potential electrical hazards in the workplace.Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good working condition.Qualifications & Skills:Education & Experience:ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or a related field.2+ years of experience in electrical fitting, wiring, and assembly in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Technical Skills:Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, crimping tools, and multimeters.Experience with control panel assembly, PLC wiring, and low-voltage systems.Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 20kg and work in a standing position for extended periods.Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.Perks and benefits
