Job Title: State Head – Government Banking & Institutional Sales Location: Rajasthan & Delhi Department: Government Banking & Institutional Sales Job Description: The State Head – Government Banking & Institutional Sales is responsible for leading and managing the government and institutional business vertical within the assigned state. This role involves developing strategic relationships with government departments, public sector undertakings, and large institutions to drive business growth, ensure compliance, and enhance the bank’s presence in the government banking ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Drive business development for government and institutional banking in the assigned state. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in state and local government bodies, PSUs, and institutions. Oversee sourcing and execution of large-ticket liability accounts, salary mandates, and payment/collection solutions. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal risk policies in all government-related transactions. Lead a team of Relationship Managers and Sales Officers to achieve targets and KPIs. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, operations, compliance) to deliver customized banking solutions. Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and identify new business opportunities. Represent the bank in official forums, government meetings, and institutional engagements. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate with 10–15 years of experience in government or institutional banking. Proven track record in handling large institutional clients and government relationships. Strong knowledge of government banking products, digital solutions, and regulatory frameworks.
