Job Description

The State Sales Head will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations within the state. He/ She will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets. His/ her primary focus will be on driving revenue growth, building strong banking relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals to success. Primary responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plan and responsible for the roll out revenue & implementation of the sales plan and achieve the target revenue of the company in collaboration with all the stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth through market research and analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets. Set performance goals, track progress, and provide regular feedback and coaching to the sales team. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and other relevant data to senior management. Skill requirements : Relevant experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the banking industry. Financial inclusion and Fintech experience is mandatory for the State Head role. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Willingness to travel within the state.
