Key Responsibilities: Product Selection & Planning : Collaborate with the buying and design teams to select products based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales data. Plan and execute product assortment strategies for seasonal collections, promotions, and store-specific needs. Forecast demand for new and existing jewellery products, ensuring that inventory levels align with sales expectations. Visual Merchandising : Develop and implement visually appealing displays for jewellery products both in-store and online. Ensure that all product displays adhere to brand standards, creating an attractive, on-brand shopping environment that encourages sales. Work closely with the store teams to ensure product presentation is consistent, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Inventory Management : Manage stock levels and work closely with inventory teams to ensure optimal product availability across all retail channels. Monitor sales trends and adjust product ordering to align with customer demand and sales patterns. Ensure effective stock rotation and minimize inventory discrepancies. Sales Analysis & Reporting : Analyze sales performance by product category, store, and region to identify trends and opportunities. Provide regular reports on product performance, sales forecasts, and inventory status to senior management. Use data and feedback to refine merchandising strategies and optimize product offerings. Pricing & Promotions : Collaborate with the pricing team to ensure products are priced competitively while maintaining profitability. Develop promotional strategies in collaboration with the marketing team to maximize product visibility and sales. Monitor competitor pricing and trends to ensure competitive positioning in the market. Market Research & Trend Analysis : Stay up to date on current jewellery trends, consumer preferences, and emerging market opportunities. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and strategies. Provide insights on new jewellery designs, materials, and market trends to influence product development. Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure product promotions and launches align with company goals. Collaborate with store management teams to provide training on product features, selling points, and styling suggestions. Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth stock deliveries and product launches. Customer Engagement : Monitor customer feedback and sales data to understand customer preferences and buying behavior. Use customer insights to inform merchandising decisions and improve the overall shopping experience. Participate in customer-focused events or activities to promote the jewellery collection and build brand awareness. Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the jewellery or fashion industry. Experience with visual merchandising and product planning for both physical stores and e-commerce platforms. Strong understanding of sales data analysis and inventory management. Skills : Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing product displays. Creative and able to translate market trends into effective merchandising
