Job Description

Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials to ensure an uninterrupted flow of production. Maintain the records, labelling, categorizing. Monitor stock quantities and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Responsibilities: Receipt of Raw Materials: Oversee the receiving process of incoming raw materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery documents. Ensure proper documentation of received goods, including recording details in inventory management systems. Storage of Raw Materials: Organize and maintain the storage of raw materials in a systematic and efficient manner, ensuring proper labeling, categorization, and placement. Implement and adhere to safety protocols for storing hazardous or sensitive materials. Optimize storage space utilization to maximize efficiency. Issuance of Raw Materials: Process and fulfill material requests from production departments in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure proper documentation of material issuance, maintaining accurate records of stock movement. Prioritize material issuance to support production schedules and minimize downtime. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock quantities, locations, and movements. Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Monitor stock levels and implement strategies to prevent shortages or overstocking, optimizing inventory turnover. Utilize inventory management software or systems to track and manage stock levels. Generate reports relating to inventory levels.
