Job Description - Store Incharge Job Overview We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented **Store Incharge** to oversee inventory management and ensure the security of our store. This role is critical to safeguarding company assets, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, organized, and proactive in preventing losses while optimizing inventory efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Inventory Management - Monitor and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock. - Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies with digital records. - Ensure proper storage, and organization of goods to prevent damage or misplacement. - Coordinate with procurement/supply chain teams to replenish stock and avoid shortages/overstocking. - Inspect inventory for defects, or quality issues and report findings. 2. Security & Loss Prevention - Guard the store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. - Enforce strict access control for staff, vendors, and visitors. - Investigate and document incidents of shrinkage, pilferage, or security breaches. - Implement loss prevention strategies and report suspicious activities to management. 3. Supervision & Operations - Supervise store staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and inventory procedures. - Train team members on inventory handling, security measures, and emergency response. - Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly storage environment. - Manage equipment (e.g., forklifts, scanners) and ensure functionality. 4. Documentation & Reporting - Prepare daily/weekly reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and security incidents. - Maintain logs for deliveries, dispatches, and damaged goods. - Update inventory management software/databases in real-time. 5. Compliance & Safety - Ensure compliance with company policies, health/safety regulations, and legal requirements. - Conduct routine safety checks (fire extinguishers, emergency exits, etc.). - Address emergencies (e.g., spills, break-ins) promptly and escalate as needed. Qualifications - Experience: 0-2 years in inventory management, warehouse operations, or security roles. - Skills: - Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Excel, Sheets) and CCTV systems. - Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. - Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move goods. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. --- Work Conditions - Full-time role with shifts (including nights/weekends if required). - Environment involves prolonged standing, lifting, and exposure to varying temperatures.
