Roles and Responsibilities Roles and Responsibility The candidate’s primary role is to perform Trade Support activities that include monitoring trade files, processing of trades (if jobs failed), requesting set-up of different kinds of securities, Trade Reconciliations, resolving trade-related issues, and settlement of trades in the market, etc. Interfacing with other functional areas within Portfolio administration to ensure that the information/data flows between areas is maintained. Maintain client-defined accuracy levels and meet SLAs while adhering to procedures and standards. Address client contacts and liaise with Custodian Banks, ensuring the resolution of issues within established procedures /guidelines. Prioritize customer satisfaction and prioritize Client Delight. Consistently deliver high-quality results. Seek opportunities for service and process enhancements. Escalate policy-related queries to the respective Manager. Required Skill Sets 2-4 years of experience in the investment banking or financial market industry. Proficiency in trade support, trade posting in accounting books, and comprehensive trade reconciliation. Hands-on experience with end-to-end trade lifecycle management and various Order Management Systems (OMS). Business domain knowledge in mutual fund and hedge fund industries, with a broad understanding of portfolio management and accounting. Strong understanding of middle and back-office operations in a typical asset management firm. Expertise in various asset classes, including fixed-income instruments, ABS, MBS, equities, and derivative products (futures and options). Knowledge of SSI (Standard Settlement Instructions) setup. Working familiarity with Swift messages. Experience in working with DTC (Depository Trust Company) and Euroclear. Ability to maintain crucial data and support team leaders in preparing MIS (Management Information System) reports for management. Additional Skill Sets Knowledge of accounting platforms e.g., Eagle, Geneva Knowledge of reconciliation tools e.g., Intellimatch (SunGard), Electra STAAR Knowledge of Security setup (Static Data).
