Overseeing the daily operation of sewage and water treatment plants. Ensuring proper functioning of treatment processes, including filtration, aeration, sedimentation, and disinfection. Monitoring process parameters and making necessary adjustments to maintain water quality. Identifying and troubleshooting technical faults in mechanical and electrical systems. Scheduling and implementing preventive maintenance plans Conducting routine water and wastewater quality tests (pH, TDS, BOD, COD, etc.). Ensuring compliance with local and national environmental regulations. Maintaining records of water quality reports and effluent discharge levels. Conducting safety training and drills for plant operators and workers Managing and supervising plant operators and technicians. Assigning daily tasks and monitoring work performance. Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant performance. Documenting maintenance schedules, breakdown incidents, and corrective actions.
