Position Title : Chief of Staff Location : Bangalore Reports to (Title) : CEO Synopsis of Role The Chief of Staff is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing critical operational and strategic initiatives within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and leadership skills, with the ability to critically assess ongoing programs and initiatives. This role requires someone who can identify inefficiencies, provide actionable recommendations, and drive process improvements to optimize operational performance. As a trusted advisor to the executive team, the Chief of Staff will streamline communication and coordination across departments to ensure strategic alignment and efficiency. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Strategic Program Review & Analysis: Conduct in-depth reviews of ongoing programs, projects, and initiatives across departments. Analyse operational workflows, performance metrics, and resource utilization to identify inefficiencies. Evaluate program effectiveness, including timelines, budgets, and outcomes, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement. Efficiency Improvement & Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Identify bottlenecks and areas for cost-saving, process automation, or reorganization. Lead initiatives aimed at improving cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and accountability. Recommendation & Implementation: Present clear, actionable recommendations to the executive team for improving program outcomes and optimizing resources. Assist in the implementation of process improvements and provide guidance to project managers or department heads on execution. Leadership & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the executive office and internal departments, ensuring streamlined communication and alignment of priorities. Facilitate executive decision-making by preparing detailed reports, summaries, and briefings on key initiatives. Act as a sounding board for the CEO, providing insights and feedback on business operations, challenges, and opportunities. Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of program improvements and operational changes. Regularly monitor performance against goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives. Ensure follow-through on key initiatives, tracking progress and resolving issues as they arise. Project Management: Lead special projects and high-impact initiatives as assigned by the executive team. Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant masters degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations, project management, or a similar leadership role. Proven track record of conducting program reviews, developing recommendations, and improving operational efficiencies. Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile is highly desirable. Skills: o Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically assess programs and operations. o Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights for senior executives.
