Job Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Associate to lead and execute a variety of marketing functions at Stride Ventures. This individual will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating events, content creation, vendor relations, and overall brand management to enhance our marketing outreach and visibility. The role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to execute seamlessly across multiple functions.Key Responsibilities:In-House Event Execution: Oversee all aspects of event planning, including selecting dates, venues, and menus. Coordinate guest lists, invitations, and confirmations to ensure optimal attendance. Manage the logistics for events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Ensure timely reminders and communications are sent to attendees. Work cross-functionally to gather required inputs and approvals, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on event objectives.Event Participation Globally: Research and identify region-specific events that align with the companys strategic objectives. Secure speaking opportunities for leaders and explore sponsorship options to increase visibility. Manage the registration process for key events and ensure active participation. Identify relevant panels, confirmed speakers, and key attendees to enhance company representation.Stride Ventures Website Management: Oversee timely updates of Stride Ventures website. Coordinate with investment stakeholders to gather necessary data and content. Develop content and work with teams to secure approvals, ensuring the website remains current. Coordinate with vendors for website updates and ensure a smooth working relationship. Ensure continuous updates on company news, team changes, and portfolio companies.Memberships & Renewals Management: Manage relationships with key industry stakeholders, including IVCA, MEVCA, SVCA, IIC, CII, FII, etc. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely renewals of memberships. Maintain uninterrupted membership status with relevant industry bodies, ensuring engagement with key associations.Onboarding Gifts for Vendors: Ensure onboarding gifts are sent to new partner companies as part of a smooth and professional welcome process. Coordinate with vendors and the internal team to select and send appropriate gifts that align with company values.LinkedIn Content Management: Provide recommendations for LinkedIn posts for Stride Ventures on an alternate-day basis, ensuring content resonates with our audience. Coordinate the creation of copy, visuals, and ensure engaging, timely, and consistent content. Monitor engagement and suggest strategies to optimize post performance.Vendor Payments Coordination: Liaise with the finance team to ensure timely processing of vendor payments, renewals, and memberships, both locally and internationally. Track payment schedules and maintain a systematic approach to vendor relationships.Journalist Coordination: Compile and update journalist information, including LinkedIn profiles, contact details, and email addresses for relevant media outlets. Develop and maintain a database of key journalists in the venture capital, debt funding, and startup ecosystem. Ensure regular outreach to journalists, fostering relationships for media coverage and brand visibility.Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event management, content creation, and brand development. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing vendor relationships and working across departments. A passion for marketing, creative thinking, and a keen eye for detail.Preferred Skills: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Ability to craft compelling narratives and strong storytelling skills to enhance brand communication. Excellent soft skills, including interpersonal communication and stakeholder management, to build and maintain relationships effectively.
