Job Title: Structural Designer Industry: Oil & Gas (Onshore/Offshore) Experience: 3+ years Software Skills: E3D (Aveva) Location: Chennai / Mumbai / Bangalore Employment Type: Permanent Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer with over 3+ years of experience in the oil & gas sector to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with 3D modeling and design software such as E3D, and a proven track record of working on onshore and offshore projects in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry. Key Responsibilities: Production of Fabrication drawings and layouts for Pipes & HVAC Duct supports along with associated BOM in E3D. Capable of reading and understanding the Structure & Support Module in E3D Know to use the E3d Structural module to create the layouts, views, sections and connections details etc. Know to use the E3d 2D draw module to create the detail drawings for Pipe/ HVAC Supports for fabrication Know to review the supports and associated systems in Navis works to analyse and resolve the clashes Coordinate with different disciplines for necessary updates / modifications He/She should know to extract the Bill of Material for each drawing He/She should know to create Print out the sets of A1/A3 format fabrication drawings and associated BOM He/She should understand the given schedule & organize the task internally to achieve it He/She should Keep track of all the activities of team and report to Lead. Preferred candidate profile Experience in steel structure fabrication & erection works. He/She should have the work experience on Pipe & HVAC Supports in E3D. The ability to interface 2D CAD software with Aveva E3D (PDMS). Weld & bolt detailing per Euro code 3 standards. Nuclear Power plant / Industrial / plant Engineering work Exposure. Experience in leading a team of structural detailers for producing Fabrication drawings.
