Structure Draftsman

Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Prepare detailed structural drawings for substructures and superstructures, including foundations, piers, abutments, and deck slabs. Develop detailed designs and shop drawings for open foundations, I-girders, U-girders, box girders, piers, pile caps, bearings, and abutments . Work closely with structural engineers and design teams to interpret technical drawings and project specifications. Produce reinforcement detailing for RCC and PSC deck slabs , ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Review and revise drawings based on project feedback, site conditions, and design changes. Ensure all drawings are accurate, properly formatted, and meet project requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the overall project design and execution. Preferred candidate profile : Minimum 4 years of experience as a Structure Draftsman with a strong background in bridge, railway, and metro infrastructure projects. Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drafting, with a good understanding of structural detailing practices. Solid knowledge of structural design concepts related to bridges, railway systems, and metro infrastructure. Experience in detailing of substructures (piers, abutments, pile caps) and superstructures (I-girders, U-girders, box girders, RCC & PSC deck slabs) . Familiarity with relevant design codes, standards, and construction practices for infrastructure projects. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
