Looking for an analytical, detail-oriented finance professional for a challenging role in supply chain finance domain at Mumbai location, for our client who is a supply chain solution & asset pooling solution provider. Job Title: Supply Chain Finance Analyst Reports To: Finance Controller CTC budget: upto 12 lakhs p.a. Experience required: 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain finance, cost accounting, and fixed assets management. Role Overview: The Supply Chain Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing cost, inventory, and fixed assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Forecasting : Develop and maintain forecasting models for supply chain expenditures, including product costs, tariffs, warehousing, and transportation. Collaborate with operations teams to refine financial assumptions and ensure alignment with business objectives. Inventory Control & Analysis :- evaluating inventory levels, movement, and management to determine the ideal stock quantities. Variance analysis and the reasons with validations Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze performance data to generate insights, enabling finance business partners to offer targeted support to decision-makers. Provide commentary on management reports, ensuring clarity and focus. Variance Analysis : Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analyses, comparing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Identify operational drivers of variances and propose solutions to improve performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with supply chain management, plant business partners, and commercial teams to prepare reliable financial forecasts and budgets. Support quarterly and annual planning activities, delivering high-quality data and insights. Process Optimization : Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within supply chain financial processes. Recommend and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall financial performance. Qualifications & Experience required: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Cost & Works Accountant (CWA). Minimum 1 year of experience in SAP (FI/CO/PA/MM modules). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with financial modelling and forecasting tools. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external partners.
