Job Description

Key Responsibilities: .Supplier Sourcing & Relationship Management: oIdentify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. oNegotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions to optimize cost-efficiency. oConduct regular supplier performance assessments and address any quality or delivery issues. .Procurement Planning: oCollaborate with Marketing, PMG, PTDC (Design) teams to forecast material requirements. oDevelop and execute procurement strategies to ensure a continuous supply of components and materials. oMaintain an optimal inventory level by overseeing stock control and replenishment systems. .Cost Management & Budgeting: oImplement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations. oMonitor market trends and pricing fluctuations of electronic components. oPrepare and manage procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals. .Compliance & Risk Management: oEnsure purchased components meet required specifications and industry standards. oManage risk related to supply chain disruptions by developing contingency plans. oEnsure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards in the procurement process. .Vendor Development & Collaboration: oWork closely with vendors to improve product quality and delivery efficiency. oFacilitate product development with suppliers in line with new product launches and innovations. oFoster strong working relationships with key suppliers to support long-term partnerships. .Logistics Coordination: oCollaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods. oOversee the import/export process when dealing with international suppliers. oManage freight, transportation, and warehousing requirements for the electronics supply chain. .Reporting & Analytics: oMaintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information. oGenerate procurement reports and analyze data to make informed purchasing decisions. oMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.
