Position : Supply Chain Operations Manager Role Summary: The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. This role focuses on streamlining operations, reducing costs, improving supplier relationships, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods and materials. Role & responsibilities 1. Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and risk mitigation. Ensure alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. 2. Procurement & Supplier Management Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement. Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners for smooth operations. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards. 3. Inventory & Warehouse Management Oversee inventory planning, stock levels, and warehouse operations to prevent shortages or overstocking. Implement inventory control techniques such as Just-in-Time (JIT) or ABC analysis. Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials. 4. Logistics & Distribution Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation. Work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize delivery routes and freight costs. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs procedures. 5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per order, and lead times. Use data analytics and forecasting tools to improve supply chain decision-making. Prepare regular reports for senior management and suggest data-driven improvements Preferred candidate profile Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or Engineering(MBA or APICS/CSCP certification is a plus). Experience: 5-8 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or warehouse operations. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and supply chain analytics. Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in forecasting, demand planning, and process optimization. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with trade compliance, customs regulations, and sustainability practices.
