Make Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management Provides direction for the effort required to protect the companys data, tools and information systems Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function What Youll Do The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure and operations within the organization This role includes ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems at the research lab space and overseeing the software lifecycle management process Software Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire software lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of software applications Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations Vendor Management: Engage with vendors, manage contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met Security Management: Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations Project Management: Coordinate IT projects, including resource allocation, timelines, and stakeholder communication System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and resolve technical issues promptly Who Were Looking For Overall experience of 6 9 years Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2 4 years of supervisory experience Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT infrastructure with business goals Experience with cloud-based solutions, data analytics, and process automation Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Experience: Proven experience in IT operations management, with a focus on software lifecycle management Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills Proficiency in IT infrastructure, software development, and security protocols
