The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in managing large-scale civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:Lead the planning and execution of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimation, risk management, and resource allocation.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project alignment with objectives and timelines.Budget and Cost Control:Prepare detailed project budgets and monitor project expenditures to ensure adherence to financial targets.Approve purchase orders, change orders, and review contractor invoices.Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining the quality of the project.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other project staff.Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and ensure productivity levels are met.Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure that all project activities are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Oversee the quality of work and ensure the use of best practices and adherence to engineering standards.Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure project milestones are met with the highest quality.Risk Management:Identify and assess project risks, proactively implementing strategies to mitigate risks and avoid delays.Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution in a timely and effective manner.Communication and Reporting:Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management regarding project status, challenges, and updates.Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and risk assessments.Contract and Vendor Management:Oversee contract negotiations and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.Ensure contracts are adhered to and resolve any contractual issues that may arise. Qualifications & Requirements:Education:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required).Masters degree in Project Management or Business Administration is a plus.Experience:Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in civil engineering projects (required).Proven experience managing large-scale construction, infrastructure, or civil works projects from start to finish.Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Skills:Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, project management processes, and construction methods.Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.
