Job descriptionRoles and Responsibilities- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge software.Develop designs based on project requirements, including concept creation, prototyping, and final design.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.Conduct design reviews and implement feedback for optimization.Generate detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.Maintain accurate design records and updates in the PLM system.Perform simulations and stress analysis using Solid Edge tools.Troubleshoot design issues and propose solutions.Propose innovative design approaches to enhance product functionality.Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.Desired Candidate Profile- Should have mastery in Reverse Engineering- Proficiency in Solid Edge for 3D modeling, drafting, Autocad and assembly.- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).- BE Mechanical Engineering- Extensive experience in machine design, particularly in packaging industry- Creating high quality detailed drawings- Good communication skills in reading and writing English.Preferred:- Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.- Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools.- Work in European machine design will be highly regarded- Knowledge of servo technology
