Job Location: HYDERABAD 6-8years FULL TIME: Job Description: We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure. This includes servers, networks, storage systems, and software applications. You will ensure optimal system performance, availability, and security across all platforms. Key Responsibilities: Installed, configured, upgraded, and decommissioned physical and virtual servers while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and lifecycle management. Automated daily administrative tasks using PowerShell, including system health checks, disk monitoring, event log parsing, and service status validation across servers. Used PowerShell to deploy patches, install software, manage backups, and restore configurations, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual effort. Managed user lifecycle tasks in Azure AD and on-premises AD using PowerShell, including bulk user creation, license assignments, group membership updates, and password resets. Created scheduled PowerShell jobs for alerting, audit logging, and proactive monitoring, ensuring early detection of system issues and minimizing downtime. Handled associate-level AWS tasks such as provisioning EC2 instances, configuring IAM policies, and managing S3 storage via both Console and CLI. Deployed and maintained Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Resource Groups, and storage, with monitoring set up through Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Performed L2-level Microsoft 365 administration, including mailbox management, Teams and SharePoint configuration, license troubleshooting, and MFA/SSO issue resolution. Managed incidents and change requests in ServiceNow, ensuring all support activities, deployments, and maintenance work met SLA and compliance standards. Supported IT inventory tracking and desktop-level support by imaging laptops, encrypting devices with BitLocker, coordinating hardware replacements, and assisting with new joiner setups. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Hands-on experience with backup and recovery tools Understanding of IT security principles and frameworks Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Show more Show less
