1 Senior Software Engineer 2 3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) Techno-Functional candidate ready to work on BA/PMO/Production-Support” role with good understanding on API / SQL. • Require 6-8 years of experience: • Development/ Tenchnology PMO. • Production Support. • Good understanding of API and SQL. • Domain knowledge in Banking/Finance/Cards • Graduation: B.E. / B.Tech in IT/Computers. • Excellent communication and relationship skills. • Interact with cross functional teams to understand business needs. • Create Solution document and Technical Design Documents • Develop the API / Application with industries best practice and standards. • Should work independently in individual contributor role on new projects. • Monitor all aspect of application -Server Performance, API Performance, Exception and interface with external system. • Interact with cross teams to understand system issue and follow-up with respective team to get is fixed asap. • Create/ Review RCA and Solution document, create technical design documents for new requirement. • Can review the code to optimize it for best performance. • Understand the encryption and web security aspect for APIs (VAPT) • Leads the requirements/projects from originating the requirement to its delivery. • Interact with cross functional business teams to understand business needs and prioritize requirements. • Understand and identify areas of improvement across businesses and participate in solution identification and implementation. • Executed project management functions for technology implementation and upgrades. • Good in doing documentations. 4. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job) • Requirement capturing with discussion with Business. • Handling and communicating with multiple stake holders like Business/QA/Support Team/IT/RISK etc. • Keeping up to date with the latest technology • Integration of different applications and APIs on different platform • High volume transaction management and Application support • Handling Production issues and responsible to communicate to business teams • Plan for hot and cold deployment in production • Conduct systematic Root Cause Analysis • Maintaining the system uptime to 100% 5. DECISIONS (Key decisions taken by job holder at his/her end) • Finalizing the Solution design and technical Architecture • Production issue immediate corrective and preventive actions. • Team Management • Upscaling and downscaling of servers as per requirement • Preparing data structure • Creation of implementation plan and planning deployment • Conduct API / Application Testing and QA planning 3 • Web server setup and tuning 6. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent) Educational Qualifications a) Qualifications Graduation in computers / IT b) Work Experience Experience of 6 – 08 years c) Mandatory Skills (tasks may differ basis the below mentioned skill sets) Must have: • Should have 6– 08 years of experience techno-functional role. • Well versed with API’s. 4• Should have basics of SQL. • Should have technical expertise and hands on experience in DOT NET Core, REST API, C#/ PHP / NodeJS / Python, Java • Should have strong knowledge of RDBMS- SQL/Oracle/ MySQL and NoSQL DB • Should have experience in middle layer and web applications development. • Positive and problem-solving attitude, must work as independent contributor • Project Management and team building • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent relationship skills. • Strong bias for action & driving results in a high-performance environment. • Exceptionally high motivational levels and needs to be a self-starter.Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
