We are looking for a creative systems technician manager thinker to join our Systems Helpdesk (SysTech) team in Hyderabad. The team works on providing desktop support, hardware support, AV operations, and management of a wide spectrum of deliverables, such as logistical aspects including desk moves, inventory, and billing. WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY: You will oversee India Systems Technician operations, align the team with other helpdesk functions, drive strategic projects, and work with other helpdesk managers to deliver high-quality operational support for users. You will get the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging working environment, which provides creative space to build and develop a management team focused on quality of delivery and a metric-oriented team. You will work closely with the India Systems Administration (Helpdesk) team and report to the India Systems head. You will have the ownership of operations and functions of the SysTech team and the development of managers and team leads. You will support strategic decisions within Systems, handle escalations, and lead cross-functional projects. You will be responsible for driving operational and process improvements and identifying future resource needs through metrics and analytics. You will be responsible for organizing processes and tools to ensure global consistency, working with other operational teams to develop metrics, and reporting on the team’s delivery. You will be responsible for building robust relationships with business stakeholders to help identify and suggest innovative ways to successfully adopt Systems solutions. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Basic qualifications: A degree in computer science or related fields with 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in the finance or technology industries Experience in managing processes and implementing new initiatives and programs across functions Passion for learning new technology products and hardware, supporting the adoption, and bridging the gap between the customers and the engineering teams Attention to detail with experience in building and running analytics and reporting functions Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues of varying seniorities both within and outside their own team The ability to direct activities of peers and others not reporting directly to the person The ability to lead programs from strategy to execution while advising senior management Interested candidates can apply through our website: https://www.deshawindia.com/recruit/jobs/Adv/LInk/SysTchHDFeb25 We encourage candidates with relevant experience looking to restart their careers after a break to apply for this position.
