Key Responsibilities1. Interdepartmental Coordination & Execution EfficiencyAct as the bridge between departments (Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, Supply Chain, Sales & Finance) to ensure smooth workflow.Ensure seamless handover of materials, production planning, and delivery schedules.Identify bottlenecks in operations and drive real-time resolutions.Monitor KPI adherence across functions to ensure all teams are aligned.2. Production & PPC OversightEnsure on-time production by tracking PPC execution and aligning it with customer requirements.Work closely with the Production team to optimize machine utilization and workforce efficiency.Identify process gaps and implement lean manufacturing practices to improve output and reduce waste.3. Supply Chain & Inventory ManagementCoordinate with Procurement & SCM to ensure raw materials are sourced on time and cost-effectively.Monitor inventory levels and prevent overstocking or shortages that impact production schedules.Work with the Sales & Dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries.4. Quality & ComplianceEnsure production follows all quality standards, ISO guidelines, and compliance regulations.Work closely with the Quality team to implement root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for defects or rejections.Drive initiatives to reduce rework and scrap rates.5. Cost Optimization & Process ImprovementContinuously analyse operations data to find areas for efficiency improvements.Implement cost-saving initiatives in production, logistics, and material handling.Work towards improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and reducing production cycle time.6. People & Team ManagementSupervise department heads in production, PPC, quality, Maintenance and SCM.Ensure a high-performance work culture by setting clear goals and expectations.Work with HR for workforce planning, training, and skill development of teams.7. Reporting & CEO EngagementPresent weekly & monthly reports on operational efficiency, production output, material status, and cost metrics.Identify major risks, challenges, and required investments to support business growth.Act as the first point of escalation for operations issues before they reach the CEO. Strong experience in interdepartmental coordination & managing production, PPC, and supply chain functions. Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing workflow automation. Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies. Ability to handle escalations, problem-solving, and firefighting in real time. Strong leadership & people management skills ability to lead department heads & drive execution discipline.
