We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to teach Mathematics as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The ideal candidate will inspire and guide students through a rigorous academic journey, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and an appreciation for Mathematics. Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality instruction in Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches and/or Applications & Interpretations) for IBDP students. Utilize innovative teaching methodologies that engage and challenge students. Design and implement lesson plans that align with the IB curriculum framework. Assessment and Evaluation: Prepare students for internal and external assessments, ensuring familiarity with the IBDP assessment criteria. Provide regular feedback on assignments, projects, and formative assessments. Support students in completing Internal Assessments (IAs) in Mathematics. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to plan, review, and refine the Mathematics curriculum. Ensure lessons align with the school s educational philosophy and IB standards. Pastoral and Academic Support: Monitor and support the emotional and academic development of students. Provide one-on-one support and mentorship as required. Promote a growth mindset and foster resilience in students. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in the IB programme and Mathematics education. Attend IB workshops and training as required. Collaboration and Contribution: Participate actively in school activities, events, and committees. Work closely with parents, students, and faculty to create a supportive learning environment.
