Job Title: Team Lead - Demand Generation Specialist Department: Sales Location: Bengaluru Reports To: AVP Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Demand Generation Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales or lead generation who will be responsible for executing strategic outreach efforts aimed at generating sales opportunities through consistent prospecting, pitching, and meeting scheduling. The role will require a focus on building relationships, converting leads into opportunities, and driving growth through targeted outreach and effective sales processes. Key Responsibilities: Outreach and Lead Generation: Perform daily outreach to potential leads via email, calls, and LinkedIn, Focus on identifying and nurturing warm leads and prospects, using tools like CRM systems Ensure consistency in outreach quality and follow-up efforts with a target of at least 2-3 follow-ups per contact . Pitching and Engagement: Conduct 25 product or service pitches per week to engage with prospects that show interest from outreach efforts. Tailor pitches to the specific needs of prospects, ensuring a high level of personalization and value alignment. Maintain an effective pitch-to-outreach ratio (approximately 25%). Meeting Scheduling and Conversion: Schedule at least 5 meetings per week with prospects who are interested in moving forward after the pitch phase. Focus on securing face-to-face meetings (2-4 per month) with potential high-value clients (companies with 1,000+ employees or $200K+ annual recurring revenue). Continuously track meeting conversion rates, with the aim of improving the overall conversion rate from meeting to sale or opportunity . Reporting and Monitoring: Track and report on all outreach, pitching, and meeting scheduling activities using CRM tools and other sales resources. Conduct weekly self-reviews to monitor progress against KPIs, adjusting outreach tactics or pitching strategies as needed to stay on target. Participate in monthly reviews with sales leadership to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Tools and Resources Management: Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) to maintain up-to-date records on lead status, meeting scheduling, and follow-up actions. Leverage scheduling tools like Calendly to streamline meeting arrangements. Make use of sales scripts and templates for outreach consistency and efficiency. Collaboration and Team Support: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to share insights, feedback, and help adjust overall strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives. Support sales leadership in lead qualification processes and provide valuable input for lead generation strategies. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in B2B Edtech sales, lead generation, or a similar role. Proven Track Record: Experience with outreach, pitching, and scheduling meetings with high-level prospects or decision-makers. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships and engage with prospects effectively. Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Outreach.io), and scheduling software (e.g., Calendly). Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed outreach and conversion targets. Additional Skills (Preferred): Experience with enterprise-level B2B sales or lead generation. Ability to adapt pitching strategies based on feedback from prospects and sales teams. Experience in working with high-value clients (1,000+ employees or $200K+ annual recurring revenue).
